As fall and winter approach it’s important to remember to take your Vitamin D! This is a Frappuccino turned healthy- with chunks of banana added for some potassium which will both make this iced beverage delicious and a bit more filling. This drink is amazing first thing in the morning to give you a nice little burst of energy.
Vitamin D may be helpful for the whole family, especially those who spend a great deal of time indoors, live in northern climates, or wear sunscreen who may not obtain enough Vitamin D from sun exposure alone. Additionally, it is difficult for your body to make enough Vitamin D in the winter months.
Mocha Banana Frappuccino
1 ½ Cups of Frozen Banana Chunks
8 Ice Cubes
1 cup chilled coffee
2 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder
¼ Cup Milk (Dairy or Nondairy)
tiny pinch of salt
2 Tsp. Wellesse Liquid Vitamin D3
Mix in blender until smooth.
