Ultimate Health Smoothies & Beverages Series
This recipe will knock your socks off. Imagine all the deliciousness of blueberry oatmeal without having to spend a single minute over the stove top patiently waiting for the oatmeal to cook. This smoothie is so simple- just throw classic oatmeal ingredients into a blender and your breakfast is ready 15 seconds later!
We loved the Wellesse Vitamin B Supplement in this recipe since it has a delicious Berry Flavor. But feel free to use any of the other Berry flavored Wellesse supplements- they all taste fantastic. B complex vitamins work together in the body to promote energy metabolism and support mental focus. We all could use a little of that! Plus, the blueberries provide lots of antioxidants which according to the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council, blueberries have more antioxidants than any other fresh fruits or vegetables tested to date. Antioxidants strengthen your immune system by neutralizing free radicals introduced into your body by exposure to smoke, toxins and pesticides.
The day before making this smoothie you will need to fill an ice cube tray with either dairy or nondairy plain or vanilla yogurt. Then you can store the cubes in a plastic baggy and use them as needed.
